Hurricane Warnings
Seeing is believing, especially for people who may not always take hurricane warnings seriously, until they experience the destruction themselves. Sofar Ocean is a tech company that focuses on ocean monitoring and data collection. We utilize the internet of Things (IoT) devices and AI to lead to better predictable capabilities in monitoring ocean data and hurricane prevention and tracking. The problem is that modern day warning systems can’t show a glimpse into the possible aftermath of damage until it happens.
So Sofar used its ocean monitoring data and AI to better warn and show hurricane prone cities what the aftermath of damage may look like before a hurricane is scheduled to hit. We started with a digital OOH campaign around Miami and AI painted a picture of its possible destruction through our ocean monitoring data. Each OOH has a CTA as to when the hurricane is supposed to hit, and changes the digital visuals according to our ocean monitoring data. We even created a Google Maps Satellite plug-in to show the aftermath on mobile devices.
