Usually when I first start ideating any campaign work, my thought process can range from typing out ideas to creating very rough sketches that can be hard to read.
When You Wish Upon a Stella
During Christmas, people celebrate and don’t mind spending a premium on alcohol. But with so many premium beers, it’s hard to choose just one to celebrate with for the holiday. We need to be topical and remind our fans that our beer is the best premium option to celebrate with during Christmas.
We invited people on Christmas Eve and Day night to find stars in the sky that looked like our logo to win a free Stella. Launched on X (Twitter), messaging encouraged people to take a photo of a star in the sky and post it on their socials with the hashtag #stellasstar, and if the social AI data indicated they were a close enough match to our logo, we rewarded them with 1 free Stella in their DM through a personal QR code.

Hidden Brews
Coors Banquet isn’t the first drink of choice for adult gamers. We had to grab their attention so that they want to drink our beer while gaming, so we created Hidden Brews. We hid 150 of our beers in the Red Dead Redemption online game and rewarded gamers with 150 free real-life beers if they found 150 of our virtual beers, in time to celebrate our 150th birthday. When all of our beers are found, a message pops up on screen saying we’ll deliver 6 free cases of beer to them. Hiding spots will be different for everyone, so nobody can cheat their way to free beer.
